Arriving by car

1) From the north:

From motorway A61 from Cologne: Drive on the motorway junction Koblenz addition to the exit Dieblich (directly behind the 136 m high Moseltalbrücke), head towards the Mosel, then turn left on the B49 towards Cochem. Follow the road. After Dieblich, Low Fell, Oberfell you reach alkene.

2) Coming from the south:

a) From the motorway A 61 from Mainz: exit alkene / Pfaffenheck drive towards Kastelaun. After the cross-town Pfaffenheck turn right follow the signposted road to the alkene.

b) From the motorway A 48 from Trier Coming: Ochtendung direction Kobern-Gondorf go downhill. Driving in Kobern-Gondorf towards Cochem. You then drive along the Mosel and see about 8 km away on the other side of the Moselle, the historic castle Thurant and the wine village of Alken. Go over the bridge over the Moselle towards alkene.

Take the train & bus

You reach with Deutsche Bahn to Hauptbahnhof Koblenz.

Outside the station you will find the bus station. Drive towards castles with the CCG-line.
